Michael Jackson will perform from beyond the grave in London next month. The late singer’s “This Is It” show is being planned to take place at The O2 arena – where the “Smooth Criminal” singer had sold-out a 50-night residency – on August 29, the day of Michael’s 51st birthday.
A life-like hologram of the “King of Pop” will be projected on stage and perform parts of his planned set to fans accompanied by the backing dancers he had been rehearsing with before his death last month.
It is also believed the pop star’s children – Prince Michael, 12, Paris, 11 and seven-year-old Prince Michael II, also known as “Blanket” – will take to the stage for the grand finale with Michael’s brothers and sisters, like they did at his Los Angeles memorial on Tuesday. Ben Affleck blames the demise of his acting career on his relationship with Jennifer Lopez.
“I was no longer in control of my life. I thought I wanted certain things, but I didn’t. I got lost. I felt suffocated, miserable and gross. I should never have gone down that route or got sucked in to all the publicity,” he says. Read the rest of this entry »
Remy Ma, who was arrested back in July 2007 and received an eight-year sentence as of May 2008, has finally spoken out about what life has been like being behind bars.
I always find myself thinking about what I was doing a year ago, two years ago, five years ago today. I never remember exactly where till I find myself imagining where I would be today. I rarely listen to the radio because it’s sort of depressing. Not being able to record is stressful not because I’m a rapper but because that was my way of venting and expressing myself. So I write a lot! So much that now I have a callous on my finger from holding a pen. I guess I got used to texting my rhymes! Read the rest of this entry »

Any kind of cardio.” Read the rest of this entry »

At first glance you wonder what beaming young actress Tatum O’Neil sees in her older date, his features obscured by a huge afro and bushy beard.
But the eyes are the giveaway – beneath the elaborate disguise is a 24-year-old Michael Jackson, hoping to enjoy a concert with his first girlfriend in blissful anonymity.
The 1982 snap documents one of the many “crazy nights” Tatum, then 18, says she shared with Jacko. And while the singer came to be mocked for the crazy disguises he adopted, this one was clearly a work of genius.
When the snap resurfaced recently, a now 45-year-old Tatum told pals: “We were going to a Kool And The Gang concert, but Michael didn’t want to be spotted. Read the rest of this entry »
Bruno, Borat and Ali G creator Sacha Baron Cohen has given a rare television interview as himself on the David Letterman Show.

He tells David: “We thought one thing would a comedian interviewing a terrorist which I think has never been done before – with good reason. It’s not that easy to find an actual terrorist. In fact, your government has been looking for one for about nine years.”
Solange Knowles hates the way she looks when she sings. The 23-year-old singer – sister of “Halo” star Beyonce – stopped halfway through her performance at the Essence Music Festival in New Orleans last weekend and demanded a paparazzo stop taking photos of her.
As the audience looked on in amazement, Solange shouted: “Mr. Photographer, you are making me self-conscious. I swear I make the same stupid three faces over and over again, so please leave me be.” Read the rest of this entry »
Burger King is spoiling for a cheeseburger price war, the Chicago Tribune reports. The chain is trying to persuade franchisees to halve the price of double cheeseburgers to just $1 for several months. McDonald’s recently hiked the price of its double cheeseburgers to $1.19, under pressure from their franchisees, whose profit margins were suffering because of the rising cost of ingredients, although it also introduced a $1 version with less cheese.
Burger Kings franchisees are expected to vote on the proposal soon.
