Tyra Banks is facing a backlash from disgruntled former employees after announcing the end of her U.S. talk show — the ex-supermodel has been reportedly branded “difficult” and “a diva” by TV insiders.

The mother of the 6-year-old boy once feared missing inside a runaway helium balloon admitted the whole saga was a hoax, according to court documents released Friday.
Mayumi Heene told sheriff’s deputies that she and her husband Richard “knew all along that Falcon was hiding in the residence” in Fort Collins, according to an affidavit used to get a search warrant for the home.
She allegedly told investigators the incident was a hoax meant to make them more marketable to the media. Read the rest of this entry »

Dollhouse is being pulled from the schedule for the entire November sweeps, which begin next Thursday. This week’s episode is the last until at least December when whatever is left of the 13 episode order will be burned off during one of the lowest non-summer viewing periods of the year.
Dollhouse has been averaging fewer than 3 million viewers per episode. This puts it in CW territory but Fox has much higher expectations. To put it another way, Dollhouse is pulling less of an audience than Bill O’Reilly does on cable. Read the rest of this entry »

R&B singer Chris Brown will perform on Nov. 29 at Revolution Live in Fort Lauderdale, with tickets going on sale at 10 a.m. Saturday, as part of a “fan appreciation tour” of small and medium-sized venues, concert promoter Live Nation announced on Wednesday.
Brown, who had a No. 1 album at age 16 in 2005, was headlining arenas not long ago and drawing comparisons to Usher and Michael Jackson. His fortunes plunged after he was arrested in Los Angeles in February for striking pop singer Rihanna, his girlfriend at the time. Read the rest of this entry »
